What is your name? Marc Chadwick
When were you born? November 15, 1982. That makes me 25 years old (watch me forget to update this; I really should just make it automatic), a scorpio, and born in the year of the dog.
Where are you from? I live in the Boston area.
What do you do for a living? I am a unix systems administrator.
What do you do for fun? Watch movies and television, read books and news online, talk to friends, go out with people, love to cook, and have fun pretending to be a photographer.
What is your proudest work-related accomplishment?
I built Howard Dean's presidential campaign blog. It was the first blog
in history for a presidential candidate. And yes, I did have some help
with the design, and yes, it has since been modified.
What is your proudest accomplishment? Although
the blog was a pretty great accomplishment, the best thing I ever did for myself is move to Boston.
What is this site all about? This site is all about me and my views on various things. I will write about whatever I please, really. I hope to intrigue some people. I hope to provoke thought, inspire laughter, and provide smiles. And, more than that, I hope to express and entertain myself.
When was it started? March 1, 2004 was the first post made to the site. The first post with -real- content was made on March 2, 2004. It will never really be finished, so I use the first as the release date.
Do you have a hit counter? No, there is no hit counter hidden here. I can learn all I need to from the server logs. Until I have some reason to track how many visitors hit the site there's no need for a counter.
Why MovableType? Because I like it. What, you thought I'd say something profound?
Why Wishlists? I make the wishlists to keep track of stuff I want to buy for myself, and plan to buy for myself. I make them public because there's a chance that someone out there might decide to buy me something I've been wanting. No more reason than that.
