It generally means something big has happened if even I pay attention to baseball. Or any sport, for that matter. I didn't really know any of this until I was with a friend of mine last night who was listening to the game, so if my facts are incorrect I blame him!

So apparently this is the first time in a very long time that a team has come back from a three - nothing lead in a series. Apparently it's unheard of to have a seventh game. And apparently the Red Sox always have problems beating the Yankees, or whoever I guess, when it comes to the playoffs (this was the playoffs, right?). So... the fact that they both played an unheard of game and won it is huge. Apparently they haven't won the playoffs (?) in a really long time. Decades even.

So... go sox. I guess.
